Al Markaz

Al Markaz or 'the centre' is a platform showcasing the arts and culture of South West Asia and North Africa (SWANA) / Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

With critical and original content, Al Markaz looks to inspire, inform and share the diverse narratives of the region; providing a platform for people who are both underrepresented and misrepresented by the mainstream.

We aim to strengthen our communities through empowering artists, gallerists, writers, activists, musicians, entrepreneurs, and other influencers.

Together we stand and together we prosper.
